Richie Kawamoto has held a number of roles in the film and entertainment industry since 2002. Richie began their career at DreamWorks SKG as a Sets Manager for the Steven Spielberg-directed movie project "Catch Me If You Can" starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. Richie then moved to New Line Cinema as a Sets Manager for re-shooting 10 movie sets in L.A. that were originally shot in S. Richie then moved to Warner Bros. Pictures as a Sets Manager for the 3D motion-capture animated movie "The Polar Express" starring Tom Hanks and Josh Hutcherson. In 2003, they also held a Development Manager role at DreamWorks SKG for the 3D motion-capture animation movie project "Monster House" starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Kevin James. Richie then moved to Paramount Pictures as a Sets Manager for the feature film "The Longest Yard" starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. In 2005, they held a Sets Manager role at Columbia Pictures for the feature film "Click" starring Adam Sandler and Kate Beckinsale, and a Sets Manager role at Universal Pictures for the feature film "The Black Dahlia" starring Scarlett Johansson and Josh Hartnett. In 2006, they held a Program Manager role at Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, overseeing the pre-production, production, post-production and final delivery of an ambitious slate of movie projects. Richie then moved to Seven Hills Entertainment as a Marketing/Development Manager, developing strategic/tactical marketing plans for a unique slate of short and long-term media ventures. Since 2011, they have held the role of CEO/Creative Director at ImagiBrand, a creative social media agency specializing in brand storytelling through a full array of social media solutions.
Richie Kawamoto obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Western Washington University in 1996. Richie then attended the Vancouver Film School and earned a Feature Film Production degree in 1998. In 2010, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Finally, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Technology Management from the University of Washington in 2013.
