Jeff Cooney

Jeff Cooney is the Vice President of Product Delivery at Imagination Media. In this role, they oversee project delivery for around 45 staff in seven remote software development teams working on four eCommerce platforms (Salesforce, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) and the development of a custom CMS and project management platform. Jeff also leads process documentation and improvement initiatives company-wide.

Prior to their current role, Jeff acted as a solution specialist for Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects, performing client discovery, researching and configuring native and third party functionality, troubleshooting issues, and training client users. Jeff also directly led the delivery of site migrations/launches/support for many eCommerce sites, including the creation of project roadmaps, running weekly client delivery calls, managing development sprints, testing and deploying code, analyzing site performance, assisting and integrating the work of third party solution providers, and helping provide retail strategic advice.

In addition to their work at Imagination Media, Jeff has also supported sales-related activities such as pre-sales discovery, contract creation and review, and represented our company at industry conferences. Jeff has also performed scrum master, product owner, and QA tester duties for multiple remote development teams.

Some of Jeff's notable accomplishments include standardized the company's usage of Jira and Scrum practices, optimized client onboarding processes with project templates for Jira and Smartsheets, and administered company systems including Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, LastPass, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Zoom. Jeff has also reduced operating expenses by removing redundant tools, managing user licenses, and tracking client monthly support hours to reduce unapproved overages.

Jeff Cooney has a Master of Science from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida, and a certificate in Sales Engineering from the University of Florida. Jeff also has a Shoptalk Retail Education Certificate and is certified as an Agile Leadership I, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Advanced Certified ScrumMaster, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Accredited Professional - Order Management Administrator, Certified ScrumMaster, and Certified Scrum Product Owner.
