Chiara Bortoli has extensive work experience in event management and operations. Chiara started their career in 2006 as a Marketing and Event Manager at CMP Phar.ma. In 2008, they joined WEX GLOBAL as an Event Coordinator and later became an Event Manager. In 2014, Chiara moved to Procurement Leaders, where they held several roles including Event Manager, Senior Event Manager, and eventually Head of Event Management & Operations. Since 2017, they have been working at Imagination, initially as a Senior Logistics Manager and currently as a Project Director.

Chiara Bortoli obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Languages for International Business from the University of Verona, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Birkbeck, University of London, from 2009 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Chiara obtained the PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation & Practitioner certification from PRINCE2.com in February 2021. In July 2020, they completed the Commercial Certificate from IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising). Chiara also obtained the Managing Safely in the Exhibition and Event Industry certification from IOSH in September 2019.
