Leonel da Luz has a diverse work experience in sales, business development, and consultancy roles within the media and technology industries. In their current role as Regional Sales Director at Imagine Communications, they are responsible for developing and selling advertisement sales, programming scheduling, and rights management systems to the Caribbean and Latin America markets. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Business Consultant at Trinity Analytics 4Biz and played a key role in digital transformation objectives and sales strategy at Neogrid. Leonel also co-founded Tau Dynamix, where they developed a B2B framework for sales planning and forecasting. Earlier in their career, they founded a business in the media and content-dynamics industry and held a vice president position at Grass Valley, where they led sales strategies and managed a team. Additionally, they worked as a Sales & Business Development Manager at Harris Corporation, focusing on advertising sales and enterprise software systems for the Caribbean and Latin America markets. Leonel da Luz obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia. Leonel also completed a Technician - Professional High School program in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician at Colégio Industrial Piratininga. Leonel then pursued further education in various fields, including obtaining a Master's degree in Digital Television Transmission Systems from Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações - Inatel and an MBA in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Leonel also completed professional certifications in Business Administration, Management and Operations from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2009, Business Dynamics from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2015, and Data Science/Machine Learning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2022. Additionally, Leonel completed a Product Management 360 certification program at Cornell University from 2023 to 2024.
