Steve Guberer

Steve Guberer is Director at Imagine. Prior to that, they were Managing Director at CBRE Capital Advisors from January 2013 to December 2020. While at CBRE, Steve helped build out three of the four business lines and successfully executed on over $3.0 billion of global transactions.

Steve has extensive experience in real estate investment banking. Steve has closed private fund placements totaling over $300mm, recapitalized various partial interest stakes in a portfolio of Trophy Office Assets in one Major Metro, and closed a $1.8 billion acquisition for a Global Hospitality Company. Additionally, they have brokered (LP to LP) various open-ended diversified core equity funds totaling over $1.0 billion.

Steve Guberer has a master's degree in business administration with a focus in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Steve also has a bachelor's degree in business-accounting from Rutgers University. Guberer is also certified in Series 63 and 7, and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
