Valerie Stierhoff is an experienced education and communications professional with a strong background in early childhood education and program management. Currently serving as the Education and Communications Manager at Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss, since January 2017, Stierhoff oversees content creation and manages the "Understanding Children's Grief" parent education program. Previous roles include various program operations and administrative positions within Imagine, as well as substitute teaching at multiple preschools. Stierhoff's teaching experience includes serving as a Pre-K teacher at St. Paul's Day School and a 3-year-old teacher at Presbyterian Nursery School and Kindergarten. Additionally, Stierhoff has a background in banking as a Trainer and Assistant Manager, where training and quality improvement were central responsibilities. Stierhoff holds two Bachelor's degrees in Behavioral Science and Early Childhood & Elementary Education from Drew University.
