Saurabh Saxena

Saurabh Saxena has a wealth of experience in the technology industry, starting with their role as a Software Developer at LinuxSolutions from 2003 to 2006. Saurabh then moved on to work at KPIT Cummins as a Tech Lead, where they played various roles including developer, tech lead, architect, and SOX auditor. During their time there, they conducted training for developers on secure coding practices and was involved in the architecture and development of mission critical applications.

In 2009, Saxena joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Senior Associate. Saurabh led both onshore and offshore teams and collaborated closely with clients to develop technical solutions. Some of their notable achievements at Cognizant include leading the development of a compliance engine executing over 1 million rule evaluations daily, leading a long-term project to create a 24x7 investment restriction checking system, and successfully delivering complex compliance modules. Saurabh also played a key role in building a data lake to store and convert data from different systems, significantly improving efficiency.

From 2016 to 2018, Saxena worked at Gogo as a Senior Java Engineer Cloud Services. In this role, they led the development and maintenance of a next generation megabyte billing system on the AWS platform. Saurabh managed a team of 8 developers and automated routine accounting tasks. Saxena also architectured, developed, and deployed a megabyte billing system based on microservices and Big Data technologies.

Most recently, Saxena joined iManage in 2018 as a Principal Engineer. Saurabh has been a principal contributor in architecting, designing, and developing self-healing, containerized microservices running in hybrid cloud environments. Notable achievements include leading the effort of live data migration with zero downtime for ElasticSearch indexes and Hazelcast caches, as well as scaling the OCR service to handle improved throughput of one million documents per day.

Saurabh Saxena obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, which they completed from 1999 to 2003.
