Issei Shimizu

Issei Shimizu is an experienced marketing professional with a strong track record in performance marketing and user acquisition across the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Performance Marketing Director at Imangi Studios since July 2025, Issei has previously held significant roles at Sega of America, Inc., where as Senior Director of Growth, user acquisition scale was increased by 10x for mobile titles, alongside comprehensive competitive research and integrated marketing strategies. Prior experience includes leadership roles at MobilityWare, where user acquisition strategies were developed for major apps, and digital marketing positions at Square Enix and D3Publisher of America, Inc., focusing on mobile gaming. Issei holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and has been recognized as a speaker at industry conferences.
