Mulu Tesfay

Mulu Tesfay is a highly experienced scientist specializing in the development of oncolytic viruses for cancer treatment. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Imanis Life Sciences, LLC since August 2020, Mulu previously held the position of Scientist at the same company from September 2015 to August 2020. Prior to this, Mulu worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic from December 2009 to September 2015. Mulu Tesfay earned a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (2005 - 2009) and holds two Master's degrees, one in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University (2001 - 2004) and another in Molecular Biology from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium (1999 - 2001), with additional education from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Alemaya University.
