Vanessa Salgado

Vanessa Salgado, MHA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Vanessa started their career as a Surgical Technologist and Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy, where they also served as a Case Manager for Veterans Affairs. After leaving the military, they worked as a Surgical Technologist at Sentara Healthcare before transitioning to a role as a Medical Assistant with Dr. Michael Johnson. Vanessa then worked as an Administrator at various healthcare companies, including EMP Medical Services, Nine Home Health, and CSI- Health Med Home Care, Inc. Vanessa later became an Administrator at IC Quality Health, Corp and Homecare Assistance. Currently, Vanessa is employed as an Implementation Manager at Imark Billing, which is now SimiTree. Throughout their career, they have displayed strong leadership and management skills, overseeing teams and reviewing utilization reports.

Vanessa Salgado, MHA pursued their Master of Health Administration degree at the University of Phoenix from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Certified Consultant from CHAP in October 2023.
