Dmitriy Shinkar

Dmitriy Shinkar has a rich work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dmitriy is currently working as the Vice President of Strategy at IMAX since 2022. Prior to this, Dmitriy worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment for seven years, transitioning from Manager to Senior Manager and ultimately to Director of Digital Distribution. In this role, they were responsible for evaluating potential deals, leading negotiations, and devising go-to-market strategies. Before their stint at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Dmitriy worked as a Vice President at American Securities Opportunities Fund, where they were promoted from Associate. Dmitriy also gained valuable experience as an Associate at Golden Gate Capital, Associate at Sun Capital Partners, and Analyst at Greenhill. Dmitriy is recognized for their expertise in business development and their ability to generate innovative ideas.

Dmitriy Shinkar obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from The Wharton School from 2002 to 2006.
