John Schreiner

John Schreiner is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the theatre development sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Theatre Development for EMEA at IMAX Corporation since December 2000, John has played a pivotal role in advancing IMAX's presence in international markets. In addition to overseeing theatre development across multiple regions, John has held the position of Vice President of Sales since March 2016 and has experience as Senior Vice President for Russia, the CIS, the Middle East, and India. Prior roles include Vice President of Sales at Iwerks Entertainment and Vice President at Bayshore Pacific Group. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from The University of British Columbia, which was completed between 1987 and 1991.
