Miya Kakuda is currently a Scientist at Imbibe since January 2018, where Miya focuses on batching and packaging beverage products for new product development processes. Prior to their current role, Miya worked as an R&D Lab Technician at PepsiCo from July 2016 to December 2017, where Miya assisted with various laboratory and pilot plant work for new process and product development. Miya also has experience as a Senior Teaching Assistant at Macalester College and as a Student Manager at Kumon North America, Inc. Miya holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Macalester College.
