Brian Solmos

Brian Solmos is a Graduate Trader at IMC Trading, where responsibilities commenced in February 2023, following a role as a Quant Trading Intern at the same company in the summer of 2022. Brian has extensive experience in coaching and mentoring, having served as the Head Swim Coach for New Trier Aquatics from September 2019 to January 2023, where Brian developed swim workouts and communicated effectively with parents. Additionally, Brian worked as a Teaching Assistant for ASIC and FPGA Design at Northwestern University during the fall of 2022. Previous internships include a Software Development Intern at Amazon Web Services in 2021 and an Engineering Co-op Student at Argonne National Laboratory in 2020. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from Northwestern University, complemented by a certificate in Managerial Analytics from the Kellogg School of Management.
