Emma Taggart

Emma Taggart is a highly skilled Hardware Engineer currently working at IMC Trading since August 2021, with experience in both India and Korea hardware trading systems. In the Korea Execution role, Emma managed the system, implemented new trading strategies, and led a team focused on market data processing and performance improvements. Prior to this, Emma gained valuable experience as a Systems Engineer and Intern at Boeing, and as a Research Associate and Casual Academic at The University of Queensland, where mentoring and developing educational tools for engineering students were key responsibilities. Emma's engineering foundation is rooted in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Computer from The University of Queensland, complemented by a strong academic background from Brisbane Girls Grammar School.
