Hassam Uddin

Hassam Uddin is a Software Engineer at IMC Trading since August 2024, with previous experience as a Software Engineer Intern at IMC Trading and Amazon. Uddin served as a Course Assistant for multiple computer science courses at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from August 2021 to July 2024, while also participating as an Undergraduate Researcher in the LLVM research group. Uddin's research contributions include projects such as "Hydride: A Retargetable and Extensible Synthesis-based Compiler for Modern Hardware Architectures" and developing native code generation for tensor/matrix instructions in LLVM. Additional experience includes developing computer vision algorithms at Northwestern University, assisting AP Computer Science students, and creating user interfaces for educational technology products. Uddin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2024.
