Jiajun Li

Jiajun Li is a skilled software engineer and researcher with extensive experience in the fields of quantum simulation and machine learning applied to trading systems. Currently on gardening leave from IMC Trading since December 2022, Jiajun Li previously developed real-time trading systems and machine learning research pipelines using C++ and Python at IMC Trading and Tensor Technologies. Prior to that, Jiajun Li served as a PSI Fellow at Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, focusing on quantum simulation and developing C++ libraries for large-scale simulations. Earlier roles included a Senior Research Associate position at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where Jiajun Li contributed to the theory of strongly interacting photons and materials. Jiajun Li holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Beijing Normal University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University at Buffalo.
