Johno Pomerat

Johno Pomerat is an accomplished Graduate Quant Trader at IMC Trading since August 2022. Previous experience includes a Software Development Engineer Intern position at Amazon, where automation of data center sensor mappings was achieved using regular expressions and Levenstein automata. Johno also contributed as a Student Researcher at the University of Maryland under Dr. Soheil Feizi, focusing on semi-supervised outlier detection, and conducted research on predictive analytics and neural networks at the University of South Alabama. Additionally, as an Instructor at Kumon North America, Inc., Johno taught mathematical reasoning and reading comprehension skills to K-12 students. Johno holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has completed coursework in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of South Alabama.
