Juri Schmidt

Juri Schmidt is an experienced FPGA Engineer currently working at IMC Trading since August 2022. Prior to this role, Juri worked as a Hardware Design Engineer (FPGA) at Fluke Corporation, leading the development of a multi-FPGA system-on-module for industrial thermal imaging applications. Juri's expertise includes platform architecture as an FPGA Platform Architect at Swarm64 AS, where contributions were made to a SQL query accelerator and mentoring of engineers. In earlier roles, Juri established proof-of-concepts for high-performance network interface cards and led research in Network Attached Memory at the University of Heidelberg, culminating in a PhD in Computer Engineering. Juri also holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, supporting a strong foundation in the field.
