Loek Koorevaar

Loek Koorevaar is a quantitative trader currently employed at IMC Trading since February 2023, previously serving as a junior trader. Prior experience includes a role as a student assistant at TU Delft from December 2018 to February 2023, where assistance was provided to peers in challenging courses. Loek also gained valuable experience as a trading intern at IMC Trading in the summer of 2022 and participated in the Financial Markets Tour for ambitious Dutch students in August 2021. Further academic enrichment occurred through participation in the Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School in July 2020, focusing on the connection between the Netherlands and China. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics with a specialization in Financial Engineering from Delft University of Technology, as well as exchange programs at City University of Hong Kong and University of Technology Sydney in Data Science and Machine Learning. Loek Koorevaar holds dual Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology, along with previous education at Penta college CSG Molenwatering and Lentiz Reviuslyceum.
