Trent Stauffer

Trent Stauffer is currently a Software Engineering Intern at IMC Trading, focusing on F1 (Delta One) Execution using C++. Previous internship experiences include positions at Apple, working on AirPlay Realtime Audio in C and C++, and NVIDIA, where Trent contributed to autonomous vehicles by implementing dynamic CPU video and audio encoding in C++. At TD Securities, Trent developed an application that enhanced trading strategies through critical financial indicator analysis using Python. Earlier roles at BlackBerry involved improving data transfer systems and code efficiency through multithreading and comprehensive unit testing in C++. Trent is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in 2024.
