Wouter Griffioen

Wouter Griffioen has extensive work experience in the trading and finance industry. Wouter began their career at Triple A - Risk Finance, where they worked as an Aspirant Junior Consultant from February 2015 to August 2016. Following this, they joined Honours Programme Study Association Extensus as Treasurer from July 2013 to September 2014. Wouter currently holds a position at IMC Trading, starting as a Trader in August 2017. Wouter has since taken on the role of Trading Lead for Crypto Derivatives since October 2021.

Wouter Griffioen's education history begins with their attendance at Sint Vitus College Bussum from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained their VWO (preparatory scientific education) degree in the field of study "Economie en Maatschappij". Wouter then went on to the University of Amsterdam, where they pursued an Honours Program from 2010 to 2013. During the same period, they also completed a Honours Bachelor degree in Economics, achieving a Cum Laude distinction.

Wouter continued their studies at the University of Amsterdam and from 2012 to 2015 earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Econometrics & Operations Research, again receiving a Cum Laude honor. Building on this foundation, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Econometrics/Econometrics from 2015 to 2016 at the same institution. Wouter successfully completed this program with the distinction of Cum Laude.

In addition to their formal education, Wouter Griffioen also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2017.
