Director Global Family Business Award at IMD business school

Peter Vogel has a diverse range of work experience. Peter is currently a Professor of Family Business and Entrepreneurship at IMD Business School since September 2017. Peter is also the Director of the Global Family Business Center and the Director of Global Family Business Award, a platform for sharing best practices and analyzing family enterprises' economic backdrop.

In addition to their role at IMD Business School, Peter Vogel serves on the Advisory Board of a private family holding since August 2021.

Peter is a Member of the Board of Advisors at evoleen, a disruptive eHealth company builder since June 2018.

Peter Vogel has worked as an Associate Partner at Cambridge Family Enterprise Group since June 2016, and as the Founder and President of the Board of Directors at Delta Venture Partners AG since May 2011.

Peter is the Founder of Peter Vogel Strategy Consulting, which works with organizations, governments, universities, and startups on various projects including entrepreneurship and innovation management consulting, digital transformation, and healthcare consulting.

Peter Vogel's previous roles include being a Leader of Tomorrow (LoT) and Patron of the LoT community at St. Gallen Symposium since May 2010, a Partner at FutureWork Forum from March 2011 to August 2020, and an Entrepreneurship Trainer at Innosuisse - Schweizerische Agentur für Innovationsförderung from October 2014 to June 2020.

Peter also served as the Director of Custom Programs and Business Development at the University of St. Gallen, Executive School of Management, Technology and Law from September 2016 to August 2017.

Peter Vogel's education history includes a High Performance Leadership (HPL) program at IMD in 2018. Peter obtained a PhD degree in Entrepreneurship from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned an MSc ETH Zürich in Biomedical Engineering from ETH Zürich from 2007 to 2009, with a brief exchange program at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007. Peter completed their undergraduate studies at ETH Zürich, obtaining a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from 2004 to 2007.
