Sarah Toms

Sarah Toms is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology leadership. Currently serving as Chief Innovation Officer at IMD since February 2023, Sarah oversees information technology, learning innovation, strategic talent solutions, and AI strategy. Prior to this role, Sarah was the Chief Learning Innovation Officer at The Wharton School from January 2013 to February 2023, where responsibilities included co-founding and directing Wharton Interactive to develop transformative learning platforms. Additional roles include IT Technical Director at Wharton Interactive and IT Director at Almac Group, along with founding Corporate Software Design and co-founding IntraTechs, Inc. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies/International Studies from Michigan State University, earned from 1992 to 1996.
