Brecht Dries

Brecht Dries is currently a Team Leader in Metrology Engineering at imec, where they manage a team of 16, support stakeholder requests, and oversee recruitment and coaching. Previously, they coordinated Metrology and Litho Engineering and addressed day-to-day tasks while managing equipment troubleshooting and supplier relationships. Brecht began their career as a Hardware Engineer, where they were recognized with an operational excellence award. They hold a Master's degree in Industrial Sciences: Electromechanical Engineering with a focus on Intelligent Manufacturing from KU Leuven, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution. Brecht also completed a feasibility study for a district heating network at Veolia during their thesis placement.
