Marco van der Steen

Marco Van der Steen is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Senior Finance Specialist at imec since October 2023. Previously, Marco held the position of Interim Finance Professional at YER from November 2022 to October 2023, and worked as a Business Controller at Mosadex Groep from January 2020 to October 2022. Marco's extensive background includes roles as a Controller at Worldpack Trading BV (part of Bunzl Plc) from October 2009 to December 2019, Manager Reporting & Consolidation at Topigs Norsvin from November 2006 to September 2009, and various financial positions at DHL Supply Chain from October 1996 to October 2006, including (Assistant) Controller and Financial Controller. Marco began the career in accounting and administration in a position held from March 1996 to September 1996. Academic qualifications include a Qualified Controller HOFAM, QC from NIVE and a Baccalaureus degree in HEAO Bedrijfseconomie from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
