Rita Reis currently works as a Process Assistant at imec since April 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Manager at UPTEC, where responsibilities involved implementing work plans and managing European-funded projects for the Culture and Creative Industries between December 2023 and August 2024. Rita has also worked as a Commercial Assistant at Azapi Solutions and as an Assistant to the Secretary General at ENGINEERS EUROPE. Notably, an internship at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg involved significant contributions to a research project. As Vice-President for Services at BEST Coimbra, Rita focused on service management for STEM students, coordinating events and grant applications. Involvement as Treasurer of the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) highlighted active participation in a pan-European organization for STEM students. Rita holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, completed in 2023.
