Xin YIN

Xin (Scott) YIN is currently a Scientific Director at imec and a Professor at Ghent University, where they have been leading research and innovations since 2013. With a PhD in Electronics Engineering from Universiteit Gent, as well as both Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Fudan University, Xin specializes in high-speed opto-electronic integrated circuits, low-power mixed-signal IC design, and high-sensitive opto-electronics. They have served as a Principal Investigator for large-scale research projects and have been instrumental in developing advanced technologies for communication networks. Xin continues to drive scientific leadership and collaboration across departments at imec.
