Valerie Wager

Valerie Wager is an experienced development professional with a strong background in grant writing and relationship management. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Development at iMentor since December 2020, Valerie previously held roles such as Development Manager and Foundation and Government Support Associate at The Shed, where responsibilities included drafting proposals, managing fundraising calendars, and cultivating relationships with funders. Earlier experience includes grant writing for College Forward, where Valerie coordinated with stakeholders to meet grant deliverables, and roles in front desk administration, editorial internships, and public relations. Valerie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Writing from Baylor University, earned in 2014.
