Alexander Kristen

Alexander Kristen is an experienced leader with a robust background in health and safety and operational management within the mining and mineral sectors. Since August 2011, Alexander has served as Vice President of Health and Safety at Imerys, overseeing health and safety operations for 16,000 employees across 230 industrial sites globally. Previously, Alexander held roles as Director of Operations for Filtration North America and Talc North America, managing several mines and processing plants in the United States and Mexico. Prior experience includes significant positions at Rio Tinto, including General Manager for Talc de Luzenac in France and Italy, with a strong focus on P&L responsibilities and operational leadership. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering and an MBA in Generic Management from Montanuniversität Leoben.
