Altonen Gene has a diverse work experience in the packaging industry. Altonen started their career at Procter & Gamble, where they held various roles in package development. Altonen worked as an Engineer for Bar Soap and Household Cleaning Products before becoming a Section Head for Bar Soap & Household Cleaning Products Package Development. Later on, they became the Section Head for Antiperspirant & Deodorants Package Development. Altonen then transitioned to a more senior position as a Principle Scientist, where they were responsible for Beauty Care Package Development and pressurized packaging technology development.

In 2013, Altonen Gene joined iMFLUX as the Chief Technology Officer. Altonen eventually took on the role of Vice President of Research & Development.

With their extensive experience in package development and leadership, Altonen Gene has demonstrated expertise in injection molding technology, novel delivery systems, and initiative management.

Altonen Gene obtained a Bachelor's degree in Package Engineering from Michigan State University, which they completed between 1987 and 1990.
