Ben-Benedict Hruby

Ben-Benedict Hruby is the Head of Unit for Legal Matters of the Capital Market & FinTech at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Austria, where responsibilities include overseeing legal affairs of banks and the capital market since July 2019. Hruby serves as a speaker and lecturer at multiple institutions, covering topics such as banking supervision, bank recovery and resolution, covered bonds, and digital finance since 2016. Previous roles include serving as an advisor to the Minister of Finance and holding senior legal positions within the Ministry of Finance. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Vienna and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in law from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
