Elisa Alghisi

Elisa Alghisi is Operations Manager at the iMMAP France Headquarters, in Marseille. She has eight years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors in the Middle East, and more specifically in Jordan, Palestine, Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Lebanon.

Always motivated by a keen interest on this region, she studied Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic language at the Cà Foscari University of Venice, which is why she decided to deploy to Arabic speaking countries for work purposes too.

Elisa has been responsible for programmes and field coordination, Monitoring and Evaluation, representation and missions opening and launching. She worked mainly on Child Protection programming with Terre des Hommes as Programmes Coordinator, Country Representative, and Project Development Consultant. Elisa also worked with DVV International as M&E Consultant on Adult Education programmes, and with Première Urgence Internationale as Field Coordinator. Recently in her career, she worked more actively on a consulting basis, conducting stakeholders’ analysis and projects’ feasibility assessments as well as capitalization exercises.
