Ruairidh Pritchard

Ruairidh Pritchard has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Ruairidh currently holds the position of Head of Commerce Content Innovation & Distribution at Immediate Media Co, where they are responsible for implementing innovative ways of working and establishing new channels to distribute commerce content. Ruairidh focuses on product and technology solutions, AI technologies, and launching new content distribution channels. Prior to this role, they founded and launched The Recommended, an online shopping guide, and worked as a Digital Editor at Immediate Media. Ruairidh has also held positions such as Production Editor, Writer, Editor, and Content Producer during their freelance work. Additionally, Ruairidh has worked at companies like TI Media and Global Blue, where they held roles such as Production Editor, Deputy Editor, and Features and City Guide Editor. Ruairidh began their career as a Production Assistant at SHOP magazine. Before entering the media industry, Ruairidh worked as a Researcher for Tagsa Uibhist, a charity in the Outer Hebrides, and was involved in securing funding for charity projects. Ruairidh also gained experience during their time at Glasgow Caledonian University, where they served as Editor of The Edit student magazine, Head of News at Radio Caley student radio station, and Student Ambassador.

Ruairidh Pritchard completed their Standard Grades and Highers at Sgoil Lionacleit from 2002 to 2007. Ruairidh then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Journalism at Glasgow Caledonian University from 2007 to 2011, focusing on Journalism and Media.
