Pau S. has a diverse work experience. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a PhD Student at Cranfield University, where they developed algorithms for decentralized multi-robot task allocation. In 2016, they worked as a Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer at Airbus Group. Lastly, from 2017 to the present, they have been working as a Senior Research Engineer and Solutions Engineer (Technologist) at Immense, where they have been developing advanced vehicle routing strategies and fleet optimization algorithms in Java, as well as time series forecasting using deep learning and spatiotemporal learning for traffic prediction (PyTorch).
Pau S. began their education in 2005 when they completed their Sciences Baccalaureate (Bachillerato en Ciencias) from Andreu Sempere. Pau then attended Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2007 to 2012, where they earned an MSc Aeronautical Engineering (Ingeniero Aeronáutico) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. In 2011, Pau S. returned to Cranfield University to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Autonomous Systems Dynamics and Control, which they completed in 2012. Finally, in 2012 they began a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Autonomous Systems at Cranfield University, which they completed in 2017.
