Chris McCants

3D Environment Artist at Immersed Games

Chris McCants has held a variety of positions in the video game industry. From 2011 to 2015, they were a student at Full Sail University. In 2013, they worked with Thoughtless Concentration on two projects, Atlantis Rising and Trinity, where they created environmental assets and modeled an environmental floating rock island. Additionally, they worked with Brain Fizzle Games on the project Critical Mass, where they created resource bars. In 2015, they worked with Pearson as a Scorer, scoring open-ended test questions. From 2016 to present, they have worked with Immersed Games as a 3D Environment Artist, Junior 3D Modeler, and 3D Art Intern. In their role as an intern, their responsibilities included modeling environment pieces, props, characters, and creatures within Blender, assisting in concept art, and rigging.

Chris McCants began their education in 2008 at Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology, where they studied Communications and Graphic Design. In 2010 they obtained an Adobe Certified certification from Adobe Systems Incorporated. Chris then continued their education at Full Sail University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Game Art in 2014.
