Brittany Brock

Brittany Brock is a dedicated professional in volunteer management and community engagement, currently serving as a Volunteer Engagement Specialist focused on Refugee Services at the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization. With experience as a Volunteer Program Manager at SMART Reading, Brittany successfully developed virtual programming and secured over $70,000 in grant funding. Previous roles include Volunteer Manager and Interim Operations Director at The Children's Book Bank, where Brittany established a comprehensive Operations Manual and co-directed a collaborative initiative with SMART Reading. As a Volunteer Coordinator at Blanchet House, Brittany managed relationships with over 1,200 volunteers and led capacity-building projects. Additional early experiences involved coordinating poverty education initiatives at Loyola Center for Community Service and Justice. Brittany holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from KU Leuven and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Loyola University Maryland.
