Aaliya Zaveri

Aaliya Zaveri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple sectors. Aaliya is currently a Project Manager at Immigrant Justice Corps. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at The Masliah Firm from July 2017 to April 2022. Aaliya also worked as an Associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from November 2015 to June 2017. Aaliya obtained their Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law, where they studied from August 2012 to May 2015. Additionally, they gained experience as a Summer Associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP in May to July 2014, and as a Judicial Intern at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York from May to September 2013. Aaliya's earlier experiences include working as the Founder and Director of Hollaback Mumbai from October 2010 to August 2012, and as an Editor and Consultant at the Asian Legal Resource Centre / Asian Human Rights Commission from November 2009 to August 2012. Aaliya also worked as a Freelance Journalist at Self Inc from September 2010 to January 2012. Overall, Aaliya has demonstrated expertise in project management, legal practice, human rights, and journalism through their various roles.

Aaliya Zaveri attended Island School for their secondary education. Aaliya then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts with Honors degree from Wesleyan University from 2006 to 2009. Afterwards, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree at Fordham University School of Law from 2012 to 2015.
