Groundwork
Megan Davey is an accomplished agricultural professional with a diverse background in farm management, fellowship coordination, and food systems education. Currently serving as Farm Manager and Food Systems Fellowship Mentor at Groundwork since March 2024, Megan designs curricula for a comprehensive fellowship program and facilitates weekly seminars while contributing to organizational capacity through fundraising and grant writing efforts. Previously, Megan worked with the National Young Farmers Coalition in various roles, including Fellowship Manager, where responsibilities included managing the Root & Bloom Fellowship and fostering partnerships. Other experiences encompass roles at Outlier Farm, Good Food Collective, and Coldharbour Institute, focusing on organic farming, workforce development, and regenerative practices. Megan holds a Master of Environmental Management from Western Colorado University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology & Anthropology with a minor in Environmental Studies from Southern Oregon University, supplemented by a Certificate in Sustainability Leadership.
