Aseel Mohammed Ali currently holds the position of Coordinator for the Volunteer Program at the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS) since October 2015, where responsibilities include liaising with Pro-Bono law students, coordinating clinics, recruiting volunteers, and supporting community engagement initiatives for newcomers. Aseel also has experience as a Settlement Worker, assisting refugees with various settlement needs, and as Coordinator for the Community Connections Program, organizing events and activities that connect newcomers with volunteers. Previous roles include Program Leader at the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth, Receptionist/Administrative Assistant at Halifax Partnership, and Health Administrative Assistant at Scotia Square Walk In Clinic. Aseel earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Damascus University, a Management and Leadership certificate from The Open University, and a certificate in Islamic Studies from Harvard University.
