Yasmin Khan has over 20 years of experience in career development and support for immigrants, currently serving as a Case Manager for Global Talent Loans and Assistant Manager for Skills and Supports for Job Success at Immigrant Services Society of BC since August 2013. In this role, Yasmin manages program operations in the Coquitlam office, oversees budgeting, and ensures achievement of performance targets. Previously, Yasmin facilitated over 100 employment workshops as a Career Strategist and Employment Counsellor, achieving a workshop completion rate of over 92%. Earlier experience includes providing career services to new immigrant clients from 1997 to 2006. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Entrepreneurial Business from BCIT, certifications in Mental Health First Aid, Emergency First Aid, and a Provincial Instructors Diploma from Vancouver Community College, alongside a TESOL Certificate.
