De IND is een agentschap van het Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid. De IND beoordeelt alle verblijfsaanvragen van mensen die in Nederland willen wonen of Nederlander willen worden.

The IND is the Organization for entry into the Netherlands. IND employees process all requests for asylum, applications for family reunification, visas or other residence permits. The IND ensures that the immigration policy is carried out accurately.
