Dana Ruter, PhD, has extensive experience in scientific research and development. From 2022 onwards, they are currently working as a Senior Scientist in Immuno-Oncology Research at IMMORNA. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Scientist in Cell Line Development at StrideBio, Inc. From 2019 to 2021, Dana held the role of Scientist in Cell Line Development at KBI Biopharma.
Before their industry experience, Dana gained valuable academic experience. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they developed novel methods to study endothelial cell function in response to shear stress from blood flow. Dana also investigated signal transduction pathway crosstalk using in vivo and in vitro assays.
From 2011 to 2016, Dana was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Southern California. Dana'sresearch in this role focused on investigating gene-diet pairs and their effects on survival, reproduction, stress, aging, and organismal nutritional status.
Overall, Dana Ruter, PhD, has a strong background in scientific research and has made significant contributions in immunology, cell line development, endothelial cell function, and gene-diet interactions.
Dana Ruter, PhD, has a strong educational background in molecular biology. Dana completed their Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Building on their undergraduate education, they pursued further academic excellence and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Southern California in 2016, specializing in molecular biology.
