Omar Pugach

Omar Pugach has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Omar is currently working as an Associate Director of Quality Assurance at IMMPACT BIO since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Director of Process Development at T-Cure Bioscience, Inc from 2021 to 2022.

Omar has also worked as the Director of Quality Assurance at ImaginAb from 2014 to 2022, where their responsibilities included the design, validation, and certification of a new API and Aseptic Fill Finish Facility. Omar established quality systems and obtained the State of California Drug Manufacturing Licensing.

Omar joined Kite Pharma, Inc. in 2013 as a Senior Specialist in Product Sciences and played a significant role in the development and commercialization of novel engineered autologous cell therapy. Their contributions include co-authoring a technology for the production of engineered autologous T cell therapy.

From 2007 to 2012, Omar served as the Manager of Manufacturing Quality Assurance at AGENSYS, INC., providing oversight for the disposition and release of various drug products and components. Omar also played a crucial role in the design and validation of new facilities.

In their early career, Omar worked as a Validation Specialist for Agensys, Inc. as an Unbound Consultant from 2006 to 2007, where they wrote and executed validation protocols for different equipment and facilities.

Before that, they were a Production Supervisor at Cancervax Corporation from 2000 to 2005, where they managed the scheduling and performance evaluation of associates.

Omar began their career as a Process Development Team Leader at John Wayne Cancer Treatment and Research Institute from 1993 to 2000. Their primary responsibilities included generating new cell lines from solid tumor samples and contributing to the research and development of manufacturing vaccines.

Omar Pugach holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from the National University of La Plata.
