Rahul Patel

Rahul Patel has a strong and extensive work experience in the field of medical and rheumatology. Rahul'smost recent role was as the Executive Medical Director at ImmPACT Bio, starting in 2023. Before that, they held the same position at Kyverna Therapeutics from 2022 to 2023. Rahul has also worked as a Senior Medical Director at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Medical Director and Medical Director at PRA Health Sciences from 2016 to 2020. Rahul has also worked at Sanofi, PAREXEL, American College of Rheumatology, UNT Health Science Center, and UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Rahul brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their role, including leading clinical trials, providing medical guidance, protocol design, data and safety reviews, and teaching medical students and fellows.

Rahul Patel completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from Rice University in 1994. Rahul then attended Baylor College of Medicine from 1994 to 1998, earning their medical degree. Following their medical degree, Rahul completed their training in Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1998 to 2004. Rahul obtained certifications in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2001 and 2003, respectively.
