Michelle Stapleton is a highly experienced Principal Scientist at Abbott Diagnostic Division, with a focus on Third Party Manufacturing Technical Support since December 2015, and a concurrent role as Senior Manager Operations Technical Support at Immucor, Inc., starting in July 2010. With over a decade of expertise in product development, commercialization, and manufacturing of in vitro diagnostic products, Michelle has successfully managed product transfers from R&D to manufacturing, investigated product failures, and driven process improvements. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Manager Operations Technical Support at Hologic, where key projects included managing the development and IVD clearance of three ELISA-based products. Michelle has a strong background in immunoassays, protein purification, cell culture, and platelet biology, enhanced by excellent communication skills. Michelle earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and a B.A. in Chemistry from Mary Baldwin University.
