Chanan Rubin has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology. Chanan began their career as a Bioinformatician at Compugen in 1998 and worked there until 2000. Chanan then joined the National Cancer Institute as a Postdoc Fellow from 2007 to 2010. After that, they worked at Evogene, initially as a Senior Computational Genomics Scientist from 2010 to 2013, and later as the Director of Product Management from 2013 to 2019. In 2017, they also became a Board Member at The Israeli Society for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, a position they held until 2020. From 2019 to 2021, Chanan served as the Vice President of Products at CytoReason. Currently, they are the Director of Product Management at Immunai, starting in September 2021.
Chanan Rubin completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University from 1995 to 1998. Chanan pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Cancer research from the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they earned a Ph.D. in Cancer research from the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2002 to 2006.
