Patrick Widhelm

Patrick Widhelm's work experience begins in 2001 when they served in the US Air Force as a USAF Acquisition Program Manager and later as a USAF Commander's Action Officer. Following their time in the military, they worked as a Business Architect at USAA, where they focused on improving operational efficiency and increasing employee productivity.

In 2009, Widhelm became the Chief Operations Officer at Endeavor Clinical Trials, PA, where they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and successfully grew the staff size and revenue. Patrick then served as the Chief Operating Officer at Independent Clinical Research, LLC in 2012, where they managed multiple investigative sites and was responsible for operations management, business development, and strategic planning.

In 2012, Widhelm transitioned to the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, starting as a Portfolio Manager and later becoming a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager. In these roles, they oversaw a portfolio of oncology trials, maintained strong customer relationships, and coordinated business development opportunities.

Widhelm then joined ICON plc in 2018 as a Senior Project Manager, and in 2019 they joined Precision For Medicine as a Senior Project Manager and later as a Project Director, overseeing various projects in the clinical research field.

In 2021, Widhelm joined Caidya as the Director of Clinical Development, and later became the Senior Director of Clinical Development. Finally, in 2023, they moved to ImmuneSensor Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations and Project Management.

Patrick Widhelm began their education at the United States Air Force Academy, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management and graduated with honors as a Distinguished Graduate. Following this, they enrolled at Harvard Kennedy School to pursue a Master's in Public Policy. During their time at Harvard, they specialized in Political Advocacy and Leadership as well as Negotiations.
