Gabriela Franco Salinas

Gabriela Franco Salinas has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gabriela is currently working as the Director of R&D Program Management at Mendus AB since September 2023. Before joining Mendus AB, they worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where they held the positions of Associate Scientific Director and Senior Scientist - Clinical Immunology. Prior to that, they were employed at DC Prime B.V. as a Senior Scientist from November 2014 to November 2017. Gabriela also worked at PharmaCell B.V. as a Cell Therapy Senior Scientist / Scientist for three years from October 2011 to October 2014. Before entering the industry, they conducted research in the field of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology as a PhD student at Academic Medica Center/ University of Amsterdam. Gabriela'searly career started at Procter & Gamble Latin America, where they worked as a Senior Scientist / Scientist.

Gabriela Franco Salinas obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1990 to 1994. Gabriela then pursued their Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Amsterdam from 2004 to 2007. Finally, Gabriela completed their PhD in Immunology at the University of Amsterdam from 2007 to 2012.
