Joy Geallis

Joy Geallis joined Immunitas in March 2021 as the head of clinical operations and brings a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Immunitas, Joy was the director of clinical trial operations and monitoring at Xeris Pharmaceuticals in Chicago. In her time at Xeris, Joy developed and implemented a clinical development strategy for multiple programs starting from pre-clinical through to new drug application, or NDA, filing. She has extensive experience in the clinical space building strategic processes to deliver on clinical timelines and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the drug development process including interactions with regulatory bodies and academic institutions. Prior to Xeris, Joy was at Astellas and Northwestern University in Chicago. Joy has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
